Based on the oil price in the first quarter, recent oil price increases rapidly and Carriers’ cost increases very fast accordingly, in order to cover the cost increasing of bunker consumption and to continue supplying high quality service to all of our clients, please kindly be advised that COSCON decide to announce Emergency Bunker Surcharge(IRIS CODE: EBS) as follows:
I ) USD73/146, 20’/40’ for shipments between Far East and Mediterranean (includes west Mediterranean region, east Mediterranean region, Black Sea region, West Afirca region, North Africa region and other regions in TARIFF 305/306).
II ) USD56/112, 20’/40’ for shipments between Far East and North West Europe ( TARIFF 301/302).
? ) USD56/112, 20’/40’ for shipments between IPBC and North West Europe/Mediterranean (includes west Mediterranean region, east Mediterranean region, Black Sea region, West Afirca region, North Africa region and other regions in TARIFF 303/304).
A/M EBS would take effective from June 15th, 2009 till next notice.
